Come join us on this moderate urban ascent to Pittock
Mansion in NW Portland. This walk gains over 800 feet
as we climb stairs, streets, and trails to this
restored chateau overlooking Portland. Round trip is
about 5-6 miles, and we can reward our efforts with an
optional nosh at Kettleman bagels afterwards.
WHEN: 10:00 am on Sunday, January 25, 2009
WHERE: Meet at Kettleman Bagels, 2314 NW Lovejoy St. Street parking is free.
DISTANCE: 5-6 miles round trip, with 800+ foot elevation gain.
WHAT TO BRING: water, layers, rain gear, snacks.
The route we follow will be weather dependent, with
more streets than trail if it's rainy & muddy that
day.
